With the overall aim of providing leading, quality film experiences, The Group launched Taj Entertainment, a theatrical and television distribution company that is committed to bringing filmmakers, cinephiles and buyers together. With extensive experience in the field, Taj is currently recognized as the pioneering film distributor in the Middle East, marketing over 70 percent of all Arabic-language films throughout the region.

Taj Cinemas - Jordan
Launched in 1956, The Group established Jordan’s first cinema; Cinema Al Hussain with the aim of elevating the movie-going experience for local viewers. Taking its operations to the next level, the company embarked on a groundbreaking business endeavor to become the leading name in regional film distribution with a focus on foreign, Arab, and Indian movies, and was the first fully specialized company to build cinemas across the Kingdom’s capital Amman, introducing the first multiplex screens in one of the city’s first mega malls, Mecca Mall. With a vision to provide cinema services to a wider audience, the company established the country’s largest and most up-to-date cinema in the affluent Taj Mall in 2013 known as Taj Cinemas, which boasts an impressive 16 halls equipped with cutting-edge technology in addition to VIP seating and halls.
